Green Schools Introduction
Going Green at school is a movement that is sweeping the nation. Saving money, energy and resources are some of the first goals, but energizing students with real hands-on curriculum is at the heart of the movement.
It is estimated that 80% of school dropouts have passing grades, they just don't want to be in school anymore. Countering that apathy with exciting real world activities and preparing students for meaningful careers can make schools truly exciting places to be.
In this section we'll share the best of what we've found on the way to providing Green Schools programs for the past three years around the country.
